Linksys Router

Okay, was wondering if anybody could help me... or do I need professional help? You know the Linksys DSL/Switch Routers that many of us use? Say somebody... forgot the password to access it? What can he do to reset so that perhaps he could access it again with the default "admin" password? Or am I shit out of luck? uhhh... I mean or should this person buy a NEW router and return this one?

All you have to do is hit the reset button in front of the Linksys.
You will need a paper clip or something small from your body to poke the pin in the front.

This will reset the Linksys in the default settings like you just bought a new one. You will need to reconfigure the Linksys after that.

I'll try that again. I didn't use a paper clip and I didn't hold it in that long. But the lights blinked and looked like it reseted but I think it just gave the Linksys that reboot feeling... like being unplugged and plugged in again...

Thanks, holding that little reset button did the job. Just had to hold it in LONGER til everything lit up.
