i can't really define it, but by using this example:

you and i both explained the same thing, but you got there first. in a way, i was owned by you.

i hope that clarifies the confusion, or any at all

you think its like saying, "Your ass is mine!" Cuz I see people saying it like if they beat you racing with their car... the own you and also some dude said he had to sell off all his crap for college so he said... "College OwNZ me".

not really sure but from wat i see on most popular forums owned means ypu either got dicked somehow or something that didnt go ur way or u gain mastery on something impossible ie u broke off a loose bolt so in other words u "OWNED" the bolt.

hhahah that didnt make sense but yea OWNED!!!
