Blankety Blank (because its not suppose to get reposted) Foodservice Distributors is a family-owned business, started in 1966. Presently, the Company has over 290 employees. We distribute dry and frozen groceries, fresh meats, chemicals, equipment and supplies to restaurants, hotels and institutional users throughout the Bay Area.

Currently we have several openings in our Warehouse Department for Night Warehouse Freezer Pickers. The Night Warehouse Department consists of 60 warehousemen.

Major Responsibilities / Job Requirements:
· Pull product from the freezer
· Must pull a minimum of 110 cases per hour with 100% accuracy
· Load trucks according to stops
· Label product
· Build pallets for outgoing deliveries
· Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualification Are:
· Great attention to detail
· Must be able to lift over 80 lbs
· Must have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
· Comfortable working in temperatures down to -5 degrees
· Good verbal communication skills
· High school diploma or GED
· Forklift certification a plus
· Freezer experience a plus
· Must report to work on time and every day.
· This job is very physically demanding!

Freezer suite, boots, gloves and liners are provided by the company.

Starting Pay: $15 an hour
Health benefits and paid vacation and sick time after 90 days. Matching 401(k) & profit sharing after 1 year.

Work schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6:00pm – 2am (1/2 hour paid lunch) + overtime.

it doesn't really look that bad to me... seriously. Its not a cool job or anything... but the pay is decent, although its manual labor.

I compare to what I used to do for my dad... its pretty similiar type of work, I'd prefer being frozen than wet.
