i do urge everyone to cook from scratch.
so what are you going to bring?
we need a list so there won't be 18 dishes of mashed potatoes, being that it's probably the easiest to make
the earlier you decide the less restricted you are to choices. we'll aim for no more than 3 dessert dishes.
!!!RULEZ!!!
Sure everyone knows the standard procedures so here's the FAQ
Q: How much food do i bring?
A: This has been a problem for helluvafast, so read carefully. When you make a dish, imagine yourself eating everything you brought. if everyone divides their contribution evenly, everyone should be fine, right? and assuming your dish is a hit, add about 1/2 to 3/4 more to the amount into your recipe and that should be fine (obviously doesn't pertain to turkey). i think everyone has the idea that the whole team will be only eating their dish, so they make an assload. meaning a lot left afterwards....
Q: Is this mandatory? can i call in sick at the last moment?
A: Yes this is mandatory. We will be explaining rules and guidelines for the christmas gift exchange. As of calling in sick, unless you are hospitalized, you MUST attend! Even when you are hospitalized, we will need a signed document from the doctor. Why is this necessary? Because we are asking just a few days out of 365/year to spend time together. If you ditch out, you can consider yourself TEAMLESS! All bullshit can be routed to the toilet!
