Broadway Prime Restaurant (http://broadwayprime.com/index.html)
1316 Broadway Ave.
Burlingame, CA 94010
Call at (650) 558-8801 for reservation.
We open daily from 5 P.M - 10 P.M
Pretty similar to House of Prime Rib.
Prime Rib is just as good as HOPR
The sides are about the same.
Prices: Peninsula Cut($24), Select Cut($27), Broadway Cut($30)
Parking was pretty good but on streets(NO parking lot) BUT the spaces are so big you can put 2 cars in one spot.
Overall it is as good as HOPR if not better. (MY OPINION!)

actually part of the staff left HOPR to open this, then they got sued by HOPR for copying their stuff and the restaurant sat empty for a few months. But obviously they are open now but a few things got changed.... like they can't make the salad in front of you like at HOPR and they had to change that baked bread thingy to something else... but, essentially its the same

ribs were cool, but I'll have to agree with your bro that its nothing to rave about. I didn't like the SMALL sides at all (I got potato salad and home made greens), my ribs were almost cold when I got them. Overall I'd say its just some place to eat... I'd prefer Tony Roma's for ribs that are just as good if not possibly better and better sides and more selection.
Summary: It was okay, definitely not worth the drive, toll and mad parking hunting needed to eat there... this is my opinion. I have no regrets eating there, I wanted to try it. http://www.23rdavenue.net/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Tony Roma's is a franchise... so it would be like saying Chevy's gots some good messican food. http://www.23rdavenue.net/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
anywho, that doesn't mean their ribs aren't good. There is actually one at Jack London Square, lol. But the ones I've been to is at Union City and the closest one would be the new one at Embarcadero 2 upper level where you used to work.
