If you do, what kind did you get? Why? Which have you heard are the best? Worst (so I can stay away from them)? And the Decent one to get (For the price and quality best buy)?

Please don't make be feel bad about telling me about $1000 JUN Carbon Fiber JDM bla bla bla types you would never get yourself... I'm a college student too remember...

Where should I get it? (I get a feeling Bew is gonna tell me Summit is the place to go for this)

i got OEM honda ones they work fine for my setup for street use. idle is not bad if not normal and not like a harley.

but yea on the brighter side of things my friend got some crower 403s on his car and the idle is not that rough and they are realtivly cheap i would say. on my butt dyno wen i sat in his car it felt like it pulled a lil harder on his car. his car ran untuned 14.8. so yea HTH.

"one"? SOHC? So I'm pretty sure I need 2. How has the AEM been for you? Any good? Any problems? Where'd you get it and how much did it cost? Measure any gains? Have you EVER dyno tuned your car man? I haven't but I think you should if you haven't...

hey my car has one cam gear too. but one day i realized that its prolly weighing me down so i took out my cam gear and replaced it with a thread spool (5 grams). thread spools are easy to find too. i found one in my moms sewing kit. its been about 5 months now and its working better than ever. my car only has like 80hp but i swear it feels like 80.02hp now. maybe i can hit those low 30s now. yea baby meow.

didnt put it in yet, but if u think about it, paying someone to tune the cam gear would cost as much as the cam itself.... unless u use ur DIY buttdyno and measure gains just a thought

thats true... butt (pun intended) for something like the cam gear(s) and other tuning parts of that nature... (actually most TUNING parts, like V-AFC, VTEC controllers and what not) I think the only way to maximize the gain is on a dyno. I would have never thought of getting my car on a dyno a year ago. Butt I'm seriously planning to do that now. Just for me I feel it should be done once and done right... instead of adding more parts to the car to make it faster. when the parts in the car aren't even being taken full advantage of.

Dyno is usually less than $150 an hour right? and if you could pick up 5-10 WHP wouldn't it worth it?

Have you ever dynoed your car? Curious what your car is putting down?

there is a group dyno at DSR(dyno spot racing) in SJ on Dec. 7th for $65 bucks for 3 base runs. dyno day dec 7th (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=330686) no tuning thought, i want to go to this one but i dunno if i have work or not...but most likely i have work, plus its kinda full of cars. i want to get some base numbers for my POS. my bro told me that the sohc cam is the same as the dohc cam, only if all of us had sohc motors we can split the cam *gear thing http://www.23rdavenue.net/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif. im hoping for 200+ hp at he fly, and atleast 190 at the wheels. its still going strong 182k boostfed

R.C. btw how hard was it to install that highflow fuel pump?? and how much u get it for?
