so we all know now...

now I am wrong... but than again... I never claimed to be right. I just said I didn't know, and regardless what any of you thought. You didn't know either because you didn't have any proof.

And I agreed with the logic, but logic doesn't always = rules... such as how we all know SPADES > HEARTS, and HEARTS > CLUBS, and CLUBS > DIAMONDS. But thats doesn't mean jack shit in Texas Holdem! Except to find markers, seats, and splitting the odd chip in the pot. So a Diamond Royal Flush ties and splits with a Spades Royal Flush.

also to add... Away-from-table: In tournaments, you may not "sit out". Rather, you may be "away-from-table" which means your are dealt into every hand, posting blinds when your turn, and then folded when there is a raise before the flop, or a bet after the flop. When you are in a tournament and need to leave, time-out, or lose your connection, you are automatically marked as "away-from-table".

Read this link if you play... and if you don't I'll correct you if I'm playing and you have to take my word for it... because you were too lazy to read... this last link explains partially why our games last so long.

Remember:
- A round of betting is finished when all players have acted, and contributed equally to the pot. There can be at most three raises per hand.
- During the first two betting rounds all bets and raises are equal to the table minimum bet.
- During the last two betting rounds, all bets and raises are equal to the table maximum bet.

There is a limit of four bets per player per betting round. That means a player can bet, get re-raised, re-raise again, and be re-raised.

No Limit
This is where you can bet any amount between the cost of the big blind and the amount of money you have at the table on any betting round.

While it's clearly stated at the beginning of this article that all suits are of the same value in true poker, and after reading this article, you realize that there are very rare instances where hands will tie down to the last card ( Straights, Flushes, Straight Flushes, it could even happen with a simple Pair). That is why it is important to know individual house rules before the start of game play. Is it a true tie where the winnings are split in half, run-off, or is there a higher ranking suit at the particular poker game you are playing. Keep in mind that most casinos play true poker where each suit has identical rank, therefore it would be declared a tie and the winnings are split equally.

There are also "House Rules" that can come into play.

QUOTE]

We should follow the betting limits to help speed up the game.
I know bet 2-5 chips in later games where our big blinds is at 16 already.
